Ana V. Cruz Community Center
Cramp's Community Resource Room
The Ana V. Cruz Community Center at
William Cramp Elementary School
Ana V. Cruz is a staple of our community. Known as Ms. Ana, she has served as the William Cramp Elementary’s School Community Coordinator for 35 years. She has connected generations of families to much needed resources. Her own children, grandchildren and great grandchildren have attended William Cramp as students.
With this in mind, and in partnership with the City of Philadelphia’s Community Schools initiative and the School District of Philadelphia, William Cramp Elementary School has repurposed a space in our school to serve as The Ana V. Cruz Community Center. This will be a one-stop shop where families of the Cramp School community have access to many resources.
Our community center will provide for families the following:
- Access to a washer and dryer
- Food pantry for dry goods and fresh foods
- A computer station with access to the internet
- Uniform closet (gently used and new)
- Diapers
- Hygiene products and toiletries
- Meeting place for parent workshops
- A safe place
