Congratulations to Niy’Ara Marbury who received her Phanatic About Reading award today at thePhillies game. Niy’Ara worked with Ms. Gribbin to show great gains in literacy. We are so proud of Ms. Gribbin and Niy’Ara.

Felicitaciones a Niy’Ara Marbury, quien recibió su premio Phanatic About Reading hoy en el juego de los Phillies. Niy’Ara trabajó con la Sra. Gribbin para mostrar grandes avances en alfabetización. Estamos muy orgullosos de la Sra. Gribbin y Niy’Ara.

Jamar was Cramp Elementary’s submission to the Mayor’s Black History Oratorical Contest. He performed a poem by Langston Hughes and took time to understand the meaning of the poem and practice reading it with expression for the competition. We are so proud of Jamar!  and HE IS A FINALIST!!!! He will be sharing the poem on Friday at 5:30 pm at City Hall.

Jamar hizo una presentación en parte de la escuela primaria Cramp al Concurso de Oratoria sobre Historia Afroamericana del la Alcalde Parker. Interpretó un poema de Langston Hughes y se tomó el tiempo para comprender el significado del poema y practicar su lectura con expresión para la competencia. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de Jamar!  y ES FINALISTA!!!! Estará compartiendo el poema el viernes a las 5:30 pm en el Ayuntamiento.
